Iberian Visions

Six composers. Six perspectives on the musical world of Iberia.

The sound of the guitar is inseparable from the musical identity of Spain, but that identity has never been a single, fixed tradition. Iberian Visions explores the many ways composers have encountered, interpreted, and transformed the musical language associated with Spain and the Iberian Peninsula.

Together, these works reveal an Iberian musical world that is at once historical and imagined, deeply rooted in tradition yet continually reinvented. Rather than presenting a single portrait of Spain, Iberian Visions asks how composers from different places and generations have heard, remembered, and reimagined its musical character.
